How easybook.studio came to be
My wife co-runs a small yoga studio in Jena, Germany. For years I had a front-row seat to what she and fellow studio owners kept complaining about: the established booking software is complicated, expensive — and takes a cut of every single booking. When I looked into the market myself, I found the same thing everywhere: high prices, commissions on every booking, and more than once "contact sales for a quote". For a small studio or an independent teacher, that's out of proportion.
I hold a PhD in economics and have spent the past years working as a data scientist and software engineer. Yoga is personal, too: I practice myself and completed a yoga teacher training.
So in early 2025 I started building a simpler alternative — initially just for a single studio. The further the tool grew, the clearer it became: if it solves this problem, others should get to use it too. easybook.studio is my answer: manage classes, bookings, and payments — simple, transparent, and affordable.
What I believe
Software should be simple
Good software solves a problem as simply as possible. No bloat, no features nobody needs. That's hard to pull off consistently — which is exactly the point.
No commission on bookings
An additional booking costs the software provider practically nothing. Per-booking commissions aren't a fair price — they're a display of market power. With easybook.studio you pay a flat rate: 0% commission, no matter how many bookings.
Affordable from day one
For an independent teacher or a studio just starting out, software shouldn't be a major cost decision. That's why easybook.studio starts at €2.50/month.

easybook.studio is young. It has been built since early 2025 in close collaboration with two studio owners, and has processed thousands of bookings in testing.
